Where Knowledge Is Found

Series: Colossians

Book: Colossians

Scripture: Colossians 2:1-7

In Colossians 2:1–7, Paul urges the church to remain rooted in Christ and united in love so that they will not be led astray by persuasive but misleading ideas. Writing to believers surrounded by competing claims to truth and secret knowledge, Paul reminds them that the mystery of God has already been revealed in Jesus.

This sermon explores how the desire for knowledge can either lead us toward Christ or away from Him, depending on where we look for truth. Jared explains why unity in the church strengthens understanding, why plausible arguments can deceive even sincere believers, and why all wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ alone.

Paul’s call to continue walking in Jesus challenges believers to remain rooted, built up, and established in the faith. Rather than searching for something beyond Christ, Christian growth comes through deeper dependence on Him, stability in His truth, and a life marked by gratitude.
