The letter to the Colossians was written to a young church living in a culture filled with competing ideas about truth, identity, and meaning. Pressured to add religious rules, spiritual experiences, or philosophical wisdom to their faith, believers were tempted to move away from the simple sufficiency of Christ. In Colossians, the Apostle Paul responds with a powerful and timely message: Jesus is enough. He shows us that Christ is supreme over all creation, fully sufficient for salvation, and central to every part of the Christian life. This series walks through Paul’s letter verse by verse, helping us see who Jesus truly is and why adding anything to Him diminishes the gospel. We will explore themes of grace, reconciliation, spiritual maturity, and faithful living in a world that constantly pushes us toward self-made identity and performance-based faith.
